It is a nice cozy restaurant where we can give you a genuine experience of authenticity. Situated just a few miles from M5\/M6 junction we can proudly say it’s a true embassy of Polish culture in the exact heart of Britain. What can you expect here? First of all, take a look at our rooms<\/a> – we have more than enough to host you and your guests with the confident glamour you deserve. You can bring a larger party with you as we have enough room for celebrations including a separate upstairs venue which is perfect for exclusive hire. In any case please check with us about the reservations as we are getting busier and busier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Menu<\/a> is designed to gently introduce you to Polish food tradition with some elements of wider Central and Eastern European influences, which is standard practice for a respectable Polish restaurant. As you can learn from our introductory article about Polish Soul<\/a>, that is what constitutes an authentic Polish food experience – the richness and multinational influences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is then a Tatar beefsteak (well that is for the brave) as a starter – an ancient dish in Poland that came to us along with the Mongol horde in the XIIIth century, and a Hungarian potato pancake – available in two options: meat and vegetarian. One can argue that a roasted pork knuckle is not exclusively a Polish dish as most Germans would feel familiar with its flavour (some distinct differences exist) but I guess we won’t start another World War about that issue. A similar argument about Silesian Beef Roulade or Silesian dumplings is fairly pointless to anyone who has a brief only knowledge of Silesia – a region in Poland that sat for centuries at a crossroads of Central European states – Polish, Bohemian, Saxonian (not the British Saxons :)) Prussian, Hagburgs Austro-Hungary, etc. And then of course there are Pierogi (don’t say Pierogis – it’s already plural). The latter is truly a pan-Slavic family of food in which any Pole, Ukrainian, or Belorussian guest will find the memories of home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
